Nearly all the support we get is in the form of donations. All of our staff is volunteer and our facilities are donated to us as well (we try to stretch every dollar like taffy). However, without patrons, the staff and facilities become irrelevant. That is where you come in. I will now lay out exactly how your donations are used.

Out there right now there is a teenager who is scared, alone, or simply wishes he or she had a place to meet others like themselves, however they feel limited in their options due to their sexual orientation or gender identity. Many feel like they can't share how they are feeling with family and think there is no place they can go to find that acceptance and meet others who are in that same boat. But you see, there is a place like that - a place where they can be accepted and meet others like them - and it's the place that we provide. This brings us to our biggest problem. There are literally thousands of teenagers in each city who would love the services we can give them. However the sad truth is that, just like in the case of any other form of marketing, it takes money to spread the word of a service that can fill a public need. Acceptance is the service we offer, and although the teenagers who come to our doors don't pay for the services, you at home are their sponsors who allow them to find our services.

Every dime that we receive from you, goes to reaching that boy or girl out there who has no idea that we exist but would give anything to receive what we can offer. Basically, the way it breaks down, is that when you add up the amount of money it takes to advertise each month through various media outlets and divide that by the number of new members who find us via those outlets on that same month, it equates to about 14 dollars that we have to spend in advertising in order to get each new member.

So before you donate to us, don't think in terms of money, think in terms of the end result: people. How many teens would you like to connect with our services? One teen? Two teens? Maybe four? It's entirely up to you. Every teen you connect with us, is another individual who will now have the potential to be empowered, productive, members of society. You need only give what you can. When you find a number you can afford, hit "Next..." to open the payment window. We use PayPal to make our donation transactions. In other words your privacy is totally secure. They are an encrypted corporate bank who act as a 3rd party so that your identity can be kept completely confidential (meaning we have no access to who you are or what your financial information is). They take the money you give them and then transfer it to our Bank of America account where we can then put it to use.
